Airing just days before Markle’s marriage on May 19, 2018 to His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales, ‘Meghan Markle an American Princess’ offers viewers an inside look into the lives of this global power couple straight from experts, socialites and friends intimately connected with the House of Windsor.
Holey & Moley were commissioned ‘at the 11th hour’ to brand and create graphic content for this two hour special. Timings were tight (they were not going to move the wedding!) so we needed to respond from brief to delivery in two weeks. This time included conceptual design development; various design options and styles were ‘trialled’ before sign-off with Fox on the final treatment.
This comprised of ten double exposure parallax title sequences to chapter the film and provide natural seg-ways through the evolving narrative. Family Trees, Branding, Newspaper Articles, Letters, Titles, Break Bumpers, Rostrum and Graphic Captioning were all designed and included in the production workflow.
