On September 10th 2015, the premiere of “Colombia: Wild Magic” (Colombia, Magia Salvaje) flourished before viewers’ eyes; revealing the beautiful hidden treasures of Colombia’s biodiversity. The film, which was co-produced by Grupo Éxito, Fundación Ecoplanet and Off the Fence stars natural actors with amazing talent, like the silver arowana fish, the condor, the spectacled bear, the anaconda, the jaguar, the Orinoco crocodile, the blue morpho butterfly, the hump-backed whale, the sloth, the hummingbird, the barracuda, the capybara, the pink dolphin, and even the squirrel monkey.
The project celebrates Colombia’s unique biodiversity by showing the country as it has never been seen before; serving as a timely call to action to help preserve the country’s rich yet fragile ecosystems, and the unexplored habitats that are Colombia’s most wondrous wild treasures.
Holey & Moley are very proud to have worked on this landmark feature film, producing; special effects, branding, film titles, maps and graphic effects. These were all produced in stunning 4K high-speed. The work also had to seamlessly fit into the epic choreographed sequences depicting the true natural beauty of Colombia in all it’s Wild Magic.
