“People’s Partnership – Brand Launch“
To mark a defining moment in its evolution, People’s Partnership (formerly B&CE) partnered with Holey & Moley to craft two animated films designed to articulate both legacy and future ambition. Created as strategic brand storytelling tools, these films supported the organisation’s rebrand while reinforcing its not-for-profit, people-first ethos to members, employers and internal stakeholders.
The T&S Advertising brief called for a dual narrative. The 80th Anniversary film would honour over eight decades of supporting working people—building trust, credibility and continuity. In contrast, Retain & Grow looked forward, focusing on strengthening relationships, demonstrating ongoing value, and encouraging long-term engagement across a growing membership base.
Working from initial storyboards, Holey & Moley brought these narratives to life through a carefully crafted blend of 3D animation, parallax layering, green screen and motion graphics design. We transformed static imagery and archive material into immersive visual sequences, using dynamic camera moves, seamless transitions and bold line animation to guide the viewer through each story beat.
A key part of our workflow involved collaborating with a green screen studio and videographer. Through precise chroma keying and compositing, we isolated live-action performances and integrated them into bespoke branded environments—bridging real human presence with a stylised, animated world.
Creatively, we balanced clarity with character. Clean, modern design aligned with People’s Partnership branding, while vibrant animation injected energy and optimism. The result was a visual language that felt accessible, human and authoritative—never overly corporate, yet confidently professional.
These films functioned as effective strategic communication assets—Retain & Grow supporting retention and business growth through engagement, while the 80th Anniversary film strengthened trust during a pivotal rebrand. Together, contributing to strong organisational outcomes.
